Donna Marie Ebeling was born on July 3, 1939, in Rockford, Iowa to the late Walter and Velma (Lee) Naumann. She received her education in Nora Springs, Iowa. She later worked as a waitress and nursing assistant at a local hospital in Mason City.
On March 17, 1966, Donna was united in marriage to Roger E. Ebeling in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After marriage, they lived in the Fairmont area until 1969, when they moved to Windom. On March 24, 1968, Donna was baptized at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Trimont and later confirmed. On September 2, 1994, Roger passed away, and after his death Donna continued to live in Windom. She was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom where she was a member of the Golden Age, the Anna-Martha Circle, prepared bulletins for the church, VBS/Sunday School secretary/treasurer, helped on funeral lunches, and scorekeeper for the church softball team. She also volunteered a lot in her community for the Great Bend 4-H Club, Cottonwood County Fair, Minnesota State Fair, and worked concessions for Windom High School activities. Donna will be remembered for being an avid Windom Eagles Sports fan and in 1998, received the Windom Eagle "Fan of the Year" award.
Recently, Donna's health began to decline and she was taken to the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she passed away on Saturday evening, December 31st, 2011, at the age of 72 years.
Donna leaves behind her two sons, Mark Ebeling and his wife, Angie, (Grandson-Braden) of Bloomington; Paul Ebeling and his wife, Christina, of Worthing, South Dakota; four brothers, Lyle Naumann of Dayton, Wyoming; Gerald Naumann of Mason City, Iowa; James Naumann and his wife, Clarice, of Rockford, Iowa; and Larry Naumann and his wife, Jody, of Mason City, Iowa; one sister Cheryl Schroeder and her husband, Ray, of Perham; one brother-in-law, Wayne Ebeling and his wife, Linda of Windom; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; and one sister-in-law, Barb Naumann.

Donna was a constant at all of the Windom Pirate games as well as church where we met her. She was a true blessing to get to know and will be missed greatly. Heaven got a wonderful angel!
We will miss Donna -- she was always so much fun! Our hearts and thoughts are with all of you!
Mark and Paul, sorry to hear about you mom. Brings back memories of Great Bend 4h. Softball games that she kept the stats, and of course the rabbit barn. She will be missed.
So many years ago and so many meals served at the old Hiway Cafe. Donna always had a come back. She was a great gal. You have my sympathy on her passing. Your loss is Heaven's gain.
