Amber Loewen, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2022, at the Windom Area Health Hospital in Windom, MN.
Amber Loewen was born on May 2, 1986, to Troy Loewen and Tamara Haug in Jackson, MN. She grew up in Windom and received her education graduating from Windom High School in the class of 2004. She was baptized and confirmed at the American Lutheran Church in Windom, where she was a lifelong member.
Amber had a vibrant personality. She was always happy and smiling. She was a daddy's girl through and through. Her dad was her hero and she looked up to him and admired him. Amber was a very strong and independent woman. She could even fix her own vehicles with the attitude of why wait for a man when I can do it myself. She didn't rely on anyone.
Ambers true pride and joy were her two boys, Brecken and Conner. They were Amber's world. She was a great mother. Very nurturing and always playing outside with the fainting goats and chickens and the boys on the farm or doing arts and crafts inside the house. The caretaker role fit Amber naturally. She helped take care of her brothers growing up, so becoming a mother was of second nature to her.
Left to cherish Amber's everlasting memory is her two sons; Brecken and Connor of Windom, fiancé'; Bremer Glidden of Windom, father; Troy (June) Loewen of Windom; mother, Tamara Haug of Fairmont, brothers; Sean (Gina) Loewen of Mt. Lake, Jamison Loewen of Windom; step mother; Kara Marcy of Windom; step brothers, Steven Husaboe of Lakefield, Aaron Glander of Sanborn, Brandon Glander of Jeffers, grandparents, Harold and Doretta Loewen of Butterfield; great-grandma, Catherine Martinson of Butterfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Amber is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dolores (Virgil) Matthews of Walnut Grove great grandparents, Bertha and John Loewen of Butterfield; and great-grandpa, Howard Martinson.
Blessed be the memory of Amber Loewen
