April Lynn Krull was born on May 11, 1981, in Fairmont, Minnesota, the daughter of Dayle and Cindy Filkins. She received her education through Truman Public Schools and graduated from Truman High School with the class of 1999. After high school she continued her education, earning an associate degree. She worked for Mayo Health Systems and Avera Health Systems as an insurance coding specialist.

April was united in marriage to Jon Krull on February 17, 2001, at the First Presbyterian Church in Rushmore, Minnesota. They made their home together in Jackson, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Madison and Michael. April's greatest achievements were her two children. She doted on them and cherished the moments shared as a family. She had many other enjoyments in life too; she loved to bake, listen to music, and care for her plants.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, April passed away unexpectedly in her home at the age of 42.

April is survived by her husband, Jon Krull of Jackson, MN; children, Madison Krull (Brock Petersen) and Michael Krull of Jackson; parents, Dayle and Cindy Filkins of Truman, MN; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life visitation and gathering for April Krull, of Jackson, will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson, Minnesota.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in April's name.
