A come-and-go gathering to celebrate the life of Arlen Soleta, age 70, of Windom, will be hosted by his family at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

Arlen Fredrick Soleta was born on December 21, 1955, in Windom, to Clarence and Hazel (Neitzel) Soleta. He was baptized at a young age at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom. A lifelong resident of Windom, Arlen attended Windom High School and graduated in 1974.

A dedicated and hard-working man, Arly loved farming and took great pride in working hard and helping others. He was always willing to lend a hand to a friend in need. He had a special place in his heart for little Joey May Crowell, daughter of his very special friends, Abe and Erin Crowell.

Arly enjoyed working in his shop, riding his side-by-side, and visiting with good friends and neighbors. A day was often made complete with a beer at the Phat Pheasant. He also took pride in his work at The Toro Company, where he worked for more than 40 years.

On August 7, 2026, Arly passed away peacefully at his home in Windom.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Lynn (Jan) Soleta of Windom, Deb (Robert) King of Windom, Wayne (Dawn) Soleta of Baxter, and Jr. (Shellie) Soleta of Elko, MN; nine nieces and nephews; ten great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-nephew; and many other relatives and friends.

Arlen was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Hazel Soleta; and his infant brother, Richard.
