Betty Lou Erickson was born on October 15th, 1934, in Jackson, Minnesota to the late Harold and Elsie (Kaderabek) Ware. Betty attended and graduated from Windom Area High School in the class of 1953.

Betty was blessed with one daughter, Jill. She instilled the values of family always comes first, and enjoying the simple things in life. She was a woman of faith, and always valued the church, and God.

Everyone that knew Betty, knew she was a down-to-earth woman, loved game shows, puzzles, bargain hunting, thrift stores, one liners under her breath, and of course, chocolate and clothes. Her favorite hobby of all was spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She loved all things deeply, and with her whole heart.
