Beverly Jean Boell was born to the late Herman and Jenny (Petersen) Helmers in Ringsted, Iowa, on September 13, 1936. She attended public school and graduated from Estherville High School with the Class of 1955.

She was united in marriage to Richard Boell on April 14, 1962, at the Presbyterian Church in Estherville, Iowa. Their union was blessed with a son, Scott. Together they raised Scott on the family farm in Petersburg Township. Beverly enjoyed her role as a loving mother and farm wife.

Beverly Boell passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024, at Valley View Assisted Living in Lakefield, Minnesota.

Beverly is survived by her grandchildren, Taylor (Joshua) Fields and Connor Boell of Jackson; great grandchildren, Remi and Oliver; brother, Delano Helmers; as well as other relatives and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Richard Boell; parents, Herman and Jenny Helmers; son, Scott Boell and an infant son.

A Celebration of Life Service for Beverly Boell, age 87, of Lakefield, will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Jackson with Pastor Russ Steele officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

A time of visitation and gathering will be held for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, April 17th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
