Beverly Joan (Hage) Hall was born on April 13, 1934, in Lakefield, Minnesota to the late Henry and Agnes (Holtz) Hage. She was baptized on May 6, 1934, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield and was later confirmed there. Beverly grew up in Lakefield and attended Lakefield Public School.
On June 26, 1950, Beverly was united in marriage to Horace Hall in Windom. The marriage was blessed with ten children, JoAnn, Jean, David, Daniel, Mark, Luther, Steven, Jonathan, Julie and Micah. They raised their family in Lakefield and later the marriage was dissolved.
Beverly was a loving and caring mother and homemaker who cherished her family, adored her grandchildren and took pride in preparing family meals. Bev learned to bake while spending time with her grandparents at Hage Oil & Bowlers Inn, where she also set bowling pins by hand and loved having pop and candy treats. Although frugal by nature, Bev cooked and baked in abundance. Her family loved her homemade potato bread that she kneaded by hand, and many remember her sumptuous pies.
Bev cooked and served meals at numerous restaurants in Lakefield. Whenever she was needed, Beverly loved caring for her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling league and dancing the night away at the Hi-Lo Club.
Beverly was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and lived her faith through charitable works. She taught Sunday School for years, was actively involved in Ladies Aide and the Funeral Committee for many years and enjoyed helping with parochial school events and activities.
On Friday, October 3, 2025, Beverly was welcomed into the arms of the Lord. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Lakefield.
