Bonnie Mae (Acton) Freking was born on November 3, 1954 in Windom, Minnesota to the late Vernon and Lois (Wilken) Acton. She received her education in the Windom Public Schools; graduating in the Class of 1973. She was baptized at the American Lutheran Church in Windom and later confirmed in that same church.
In 1992, Bonnie was united in marriage to Dennis Freking at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Heron Lake. They then made their home in rural Heron Lake and later, Bonnie moved to Windom. For thirty-seven years, Bonnie worked at TORO manufacturing in Windom as an assembler until her retirement in April of 2012. After retiring, Bonnie continued to live in Windom where she was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Last week, Bonnie's health began to decline and she was transferred to the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she passed away on June 9, 2019, at the age of 64 years.
Bonnie will be remembered for always having a smile on her face She had many enjoyments in life which included playing games on her tablet, watching TV, fill in books, tractor pulls, and spending time with her cat "Honey".
Bonnie is survived by her son, Kevin (Heather) Freking and Heather's children, Sam and Jenny of Windom; one grandson, Isaac Way of Anoka; one brother, Robert Acton of Worthington; and several other relatives and friends.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Lois Acton; husband, Dennis Freking; and one brother, Richard Acton.
