Obituary

Beloved Father, Husband, Son and Brother Brent Allen Johnson was born in Windom, MN on June 27, 1969 to Marvin and Diane Johnson. Brent attended Windom Area High School where he played hockey for the Windom Eagles and graduated in 1988. Following high school, he attended Brown Technical Institute earning a degree in Radio Broadcasting where his first job was in Portage, WI. Brent met the love of his life LaDonna Dumke in Portage, WI. They were united into marriage on November 12, 1994. This union blessed them with three sons, Avery 24, Fletcher 19 and Barret 16. They eventually settled and made their home in Platteville, WI. There he worked at Queen Bee Radio for 20+ years. He enjoyed his radio interviews where he met many music artists and bands. He worked as the announcer for the Dubuque Fighting Saints Hockey team. Though he lived in Wisconsin, he remained an avid Minnesota fan. He also owned a DJ Business, Johnson Productions. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking camping trips together. As a family, they attended First English Lutheran church in Platteville, WI. Brent had a fun-loving sprit and always wanted to make people laugh. Brent passed away unexpectedly at St. Could Hospital on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the age of 51 years. Brent joined his mother, Diane, shortly after her passing. Brent and Diane will both be buried at Memory Gardens in Windom. Preceding his death were his parents, Marvin and Diane Johnson; grandparents, Howard and Carol Corbin and Gilbert and Luella Johnson. Brent is survived by his wife: LaDonna Johnson and his 3 sons, Avery (Priscilla), Fletcher and Barret; siblings, Deb (Bob) Alt and Scott (Rachel) Johnson; nieces and nephew, Cassie (Rohnie) Sykes, Allie Johnson and Corbin Johnson There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
