Carole Jean Hanson unexpectantly passed away peacefully at her home on September 25, 2020. She was 77 years old. Carole was preceded in death by both of her parents, Chester and Gertie Hanson. She is survived by two brothers, Kenneth and Daryle and their spouses, a niece, two nephews and several step-nieces and nephews. Carole lived her entire life in Windom. After high school, she attended the Mankato Beauty School but eventually found her calling working at Good Samaritan Society Sogge Memorial where she continued working for over 40 years until her retirement. In her younger years, Carole enjoyed travels to many countries. She was a very kind person who lived life on her own terms. One of Carole's passions was playing Bingo with her friends at McDonald's restaurant. She loved her knick-knacks and enjoyed displaying them. Carole will be sadly missed by her family but fond memories will fill the void. Per Carole's request and the addition of the difficulty of Covid-19, there will be only a graveside service for close family.
