A Celebration of Life Service for Christine "Chrissy" Mason-Gottsche, age 54, of Jackson, will be held on Friday, December 30th at 5:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson, with Pastor Dave Jurgens officiating.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, December 30th from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson.

Christine "Chrissy" Mason-Gottsche passed away with family by her side, on Friday, December 16th at Region's Hospital in St. Paul.

Christine "Chrissy" Ann Mason-Gottsche was born on May 24, 1968, to Virgil and Cynthia (Wolff) Gottsche at the Lakefield Hospital, in Lakefield, Minnesota. She attended Riverside Elementary in Jackson and graduated from Jackson High School in the class of 1987.

Christine was blessed with five children, Trever, Tyler, Alexa, Jamis, and Jaden, as well as two stepchildren, Kimberly and Jordan, and nine grandchildren. She worked for 29 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Good Samaritan Society. She spent the past 5 years working as a Supervisor with Marsden Building Maintenance.

She loved grilling out and having campfires with her children, grandchildren and family. Christine was a Green Bay Packers fan and loved watching games. She enjoyed trips to Walmart with her parents, and she liked playing Bingo.

On December 2, 2022, Christine suffered life-threatening burns from a house fire and was admitted to the Burn Unit at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. After a courageous fight, Christine passed away on Friday, December 16th with her family by her side at Region's Hospital in St. Paul.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Trever Mason of Jackson, Tyler (Nichole) Ayers of Alpha, MN, Alexa Ayers of Jackson, Jamis Mason of Jackson, and Jaden Mason of Jackson; two stepchildren, Kimberly Mason of Sheldon, IA, and Jordan Mason of Sleepy Eye, MN; 9 grandchildren, Nayeli Ayers, Naiya Ayers, Bentley Mason, Dayson Davis-Gottsche, Malakai Ayers, Promise Ayers, Nodia Mason, Niklaus Mason, and Madison Mason; parents, Virgil and Cindy Gottsche of Jackson; siblings, Sandra (Bill) Thelen of Brookings, SD, Brenda Wingert of Lakefield, and Jessica (Natasha) Gottsche of Jackson; as well as many dear relatives and friends.

Christine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Mary Ann Wilde, and William and Viola Gottsche.
