Clara Belle Taylor was born on September 26, 1923, in Dickens, Iowa to the late Ralph and Naomi (Storey) Reeverts. She received her education in the Dickens Public Schools, graduating from Dickens High School. On January 7, 1942, Clara Belle was united in marriage to Dale F. Taylor in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Clara and Dale lived in Langdon and then Lake Center, Iowa where they lived from 1943-1947 before moving to rural Storden, Minnesota. Clara Belle and Dale farmed until retiring in 2003. Dale passed away in 2009, shortly after his death, Clara Belle moved into Storden and in 2011, she moved to O'Brien Court in Tracy, Minnesota until becoming a resident at the Valley View Manor in Lamberton, Minnesota. Clara Belle remained in Lamberton until passing away on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at the age of 97 years. Clara Belle was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Storden. She will be remembered for having the best "cowboy" coffee in the country being a loving wife, mother, and grandma. Through the years, Clara Belle enjoyed going to the Black Hills area and being a caretaker for her entire family. Clara Belle is survived by her four children, Charles Taylor and his wife, Louise, of Storden; Jerry Taylor and his wife, Kathy, of Storden; Nancy Rasmussen and her husband, Jerry, of Woodville, WI; Cindy Swenhaugen and her husband, David, of Tracy; son-in-law, Dennis Marsh of Storden; twenty-three grandchildren; Many great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Effie Spencer of Spencer, IA; and many nieces and nephews. Clara Belle is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Janice Marsh; one son, Jack L. Taylor; one infant great-grandson, Aaron Baumann; and one great-grandson, Cole Baumann.
