A Celebration of Life Service to honor the life and legacy of Dale Struck, age 76, of the Austin area, formerly of Windom, will be held on Saturday, April 4th at 11:00 AM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #206 of Windom. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.

A visitation for Dale will be held on Saturday morning, April 4th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom.

Dale Marvin Struck was born on June 30, 1949, in Saint Peter, Minnesota, to Marvin A. and Leona A. (Maas) Struck. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Waterville, Minnesota. Dale graduated from Windom High School with the Class of 1968.

After high school, Dale volunteered for the draft and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1969-1971, earning the rank of Corporal E-4. During his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. After being honorably discharged, Dale continued his service in the Minnesota National Guard for 20 years.

Following his military service, Dale attended Mankato Area Vocational-Technical Institute, where he earned an associate's degree in Agri-business, Sales, and Management. He spent many years working as a fabricator at Ag-Chem until his retirement.

In June of 1973, Dale was united in marriage to Connie Gilbertson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield, Minnesota. They made their home in Windom, Minnesota, where they raised their four sons, Jeremy, Jared, Josh, and Jordan. Family was central to Dale's life. Following Connie's passing, he later made his home in the Austin, Minnesota area.

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, Dale passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jeremy (Kari) Struck of Austin, Jared Struck of Richmond, VA, Josh Struck of Belle Plaine, and Jordan (Amanda) Struck of Shakopee; eight grandchildren, Kaila (Matt) Bergstad, Olivia (Nathan), Jackson, Chayton, Ember, Maci, Nora and Cole; three great-grandchildren, Lukas, Elliot and Noah; two siblings, Allen (Karen) Struck and Judy Betcher; mother-in-law, Betty Gilbertson; brothers-in-law, Ron Gilbertson and Don (Kathy) Gilbertson; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Ehmke; as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Struck; granddaughter, Winnie; parents, Marvin and Leona Struck; siblings, Arlen Struck and Lynn Struck; father-in-law, Nordeen Gilbertson; and brother-in-law, Dennis Betcher; niece, Tia Ehmke; nephews, Jacob Ehmke and Andrew Struck.
