David P. "Ole" Olson, age 77, of Jackson, MN, passed away on April 12, 2023, at his home.

David was born on May 5, 1945, to Edward and Gladys (Vacura) Olson in Jackson. He was baptized and confirmed at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Jackson and graduated from Jackson High School.

David had an unforgettable big barrel laugh that could break a window once he got going. He was crazy about football, greatly enjoyed walking around town, and treasured his dogs. David was a skilled craftsman and always paid great attention to the finer details of his projects – all on his own time.

David is survived by his stepdaughters, Peggy (Jason) McLaughlin and Carrie (Kevin) Leveille; granddaughter, Sierra Garber; and friends from his apartment building.

David was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart, Vicki; parents, Ed and Gladys; sister, Alice; and beloved pets, Lily Rose and Ruby Rose.

David was buried next to his parents and sister at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Jackson, MN, with Father Jonathan Fasnacht officiating.
