David Roesner, age 76, of Lakefield, Minnesota, passed away on January 28, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

He was born October 13, 1947, in Heron Lake, Minnesota, to Ernest and Edma Roesner. He was a 1965 graduate of Lakefield High School and attended Dunwoody Technical College. He held different positions from kiln technician to field supervisor for Phillips Kiln Service in Sioux City, Iowa.

During retirement he enjoyed his classic cars, 1932 Ford Roadster and Ford Coupe. He attended many car shows and received many awards and accolades in the car community. He was a member of the Minnesota Street Rod Association and the Black Knights Car Club in Lakefield, Minnesota.

He was preceded to heaven by his parents, brother, twin sisters, and nephew, Timothy Davenport, as well as other family and friends.

He was survived by his daughter, Salle Ann and her husband, Thomas Hengeveld and his grandkids, Peyton, Lily-Ann, Karsyn, Carl, Austin, and Neveah; brothers, Larry, Donald and Ronald Roesner; sister, Karon Green; cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
