DeeAnn Lynn Crowell was born on March 17, 1963, in Windom, Minnesota to Gerald "Babe" Curtis and Sylvia Audene (Nolt) Crowell. She received her education in the Windom Public Schools; graduating in the Class of 1982. From 1981-1987, DeeAnn was a member of the Army National Guard-Medic Division. She was honorably discharged and moved to Sioux City, Iowa. She attended MN West Community College for Massage Therapy 2005 and then in 2015 attended Iowa Tec College and then became a tax preparer for H and R Block. Through the years, DeeAnn was also a greeter and cashier at Walmart in Sioux City, Iowa and Lincoln, Nebraska. Early in 2019, DeeAnn became ill and was hospitalized at the Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. On July 12, 2019, DeeAnn passed away there at the age of 56 years. DeeAnn had many enjoyments in life which included her granddaughter, roller skating, and spending time with people; especially her friends. DeeAnn is survived by her two children, Joshua and Sheyanne Crowell of Lincoln, Nebraska and one granddaughter, Millie Crowell; father, Babe (Kathy) Crowell of Windom; four brothers, Donald (Kathy) Crowell of Windom; Michael Crowell of Windom; Dean (Kathy) Crowell of Byron Center, Michigan; David Crowell of Payette, ID; three step-siblings, Tammy (Chad) Alm of Windom; Randy (Missy) Pankonin of Rochester; Jennifer (Rick) Graft of St. Peter; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. DeeAnn is preceded in death by her mom, Sylvia "Toby" Nolt; grandparents, Lyle and Ruth Nolt; Herald and Edna Crowell.
