Donald "Don" J. Gillam was born March 20, 1921 in Windom, MN to the late Paul and Elizabeth June (Seely) Gillam. He passed away on November 21, 2020 at the Sogge Memorial Good Samaritan Society, where he had been a resident since 2011. Don received his education in Windom, MN, graduating with the class of 1940. During WWII, Don worked for Autolite Diecasting Co in Woodstock, IL. After returning to Windom, he had a lawn care service. Later he managed the Gillam farms. Don was a member of the First Methodist Church in Windom, where he was baptized and confirmed. Don enjoyed listening to music, reading and at one time played the cornet in a small band. Don was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles and Richard.
