A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 24th, at 11 AM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom, with Pastor Steve Bliss officiating. Burial will be in the Jeffers City Cemetery, in Jeffers, Minnesota

A time of visitation and gathering will be held at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom on Monday, June 24th, from 10-11 AM.

Donna Polzin passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13th at her home in Jeffers.

Memorials are preferred to the Jeffers City Cemetery in memory of Donna for trees in the cemetery.

Donna Mae Polzin was born on November 7, 1952, to the late Lloyd and Margaret Will (Peterson) in Windom, Minnesota. Donna was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeffers and graduated from Windom Area Schools in 1971.

On November 18, 1972, Donna married Roger Polzin at Trinity Lutheran. This union blessed them with their three children. Donna and Roger owned and operated the Jeffers City Café for 20 years until their retirement.

Donna was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeffers. She enjoyed going to Jackpot Junction, reading, traveling to Arizona, and exploring the United States.

Recently Donna entered hospice care in her home in Jeffers, and passed away there peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the age of 71 years.

Donna is survived by her three children: Margo Wright, Becky Caswell, and Terry Polzin; six grandchildren: Dustin, Eric, Nick (Susan), Gage (Kali), Tegan, and Tristan; five great grandchildren; two sisters: Sharon Heger (Bruce), and Nancy Winter and several nieces and nephews.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 48 years, Roger Polzin (January 31, 2021); grandson, Chase; two brothers: Richard and Ronald Will; and several other relatives and friends.
