A Celebration of Life Service for Eric Adams, age 70, of Jackson, will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson with Pastor John Schuetz officiating. Burial will be in Lake Fremont Cemetery in Dunnell, Minnesota.

A time of visitation and gathering will be held on Monday, June 24th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, June 25th, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.

Eric LeRoy Adams was born on August 15, 1953, to the late Vincent and Marian (Janssen) Adams in Estherville, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed in 1966 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dunnell. He attended elementary school in Dunnell, Minnesota with Mrs. Danielson. In 1995, he earned his GED.

Eric was united in marriage to Esther "Jo" Tripp. Their union was blessed with a son, Richard. Eric was remarried to Linda Shiets and was blessed with five children: Laurie, Jason, Cheree, Nathan, and Ginger. Both marriages were dissolved. Later, Eric was united in marriage to Camalla Ann (Thompson) Adams.

Eric enjoyed many years working as a local school bus driver. You could find Eric riding horses, fishing, reading, and listening to music.

Eric passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society – Sogge Memorial in Windom, Minnesota.

He is survived by his children, Jason (LeAnn) Mix of Fairmont, Laurie (Paul) Mann of Estherville, IA, Rick (Carmen) Tripp of Humbolt, IA, Nathan Adams of Jackson, Ginger (Chad) Streiff of Alpha; thirteen grandchildren, Melissa (Chuck) Rummens, Elisha Harberts, Lee Harberts, JD Harberts, Beth Mix, Adam Mix, Bre Mix, Hunter Adams, Patience Adams, Nala Streiff, Kiara Streiff, Dustin Tripp and Isaach Tripp; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Susan (John) Forstrom of Trimont, Jerry (Janyne) Adams of Madison, WI, Terry Adams of Jackson, and Debra Sabin of Sherburn; as well as other relatives and friends.

Eric was preceded in death by his wife, Camalla Adams; child, Cheree Adams; parents, Vincent and Marian Adams; and sister, Linda Adams.
