Gary D. Brewington was born on July 11, 1947, to the late Donald and Christine (Vagle) Brewington in Windom, Minnesota. He began his education in the Lakefield Public Schools, graduating from Lakefield High School with the class of 1965. After graduation, Gary enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1968.

After returning home from the military, Gary worked several jobs before beginning his 37 year long career at AgCo Manufacturing, starting in April of 1977 and retiring in February 2015.

Gary had a love for nature that spanned his entire life, and some of his favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors were by going hunting, fishing, and participating with the Lakefield Saddle Club. He also enjoyed sprint car races and bowling. In his later years, Gary's favorite pastimes were playing golf and horseback riding.

Gary was a loving father to his only daughter, Erin. He cherished his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Gary D. Brewington passed away on Wednesday, November 1st at Sanford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, Minnesota.

Gary will forever be remembered by his loving daughter, Erin; grandchildren, Levi, Aubry, and Trayton; great-granddaughter, Paisley; and sister, Jan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Christine.
