Gloria Jean Anderson was born on February 7, 1945 in Austin, Minnesota to the late Carl James and Velma (Fletcher) Cannon. She was baptized at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Windom. Gloria graduated from Windom High School in the Class of 1963. On October 26, 1963 Gloria was united in marriage in Windom, Minnesota, to the late Jerry W Risgard. They were married until he passed away on May 12, 2002. Gloria married James D Anderson at the American Lutheran Church in Windom on January 4, 2003. This union blessed her with three step-children, Steven, Douglas and Holly. Gloria was a manager at Fingerhut for 13 years in Windom. She then worked at Windom Painting, mainly as the bookkeeper, but would do what ever was asked of her. Gloria was a hard worker all her life and retired in June 2006. She enjoyed spending time at their lake home in Ottertail at Rush Lake. She loved watching the loons and even had a pet loon up at their cabin. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, and enjoyed her black cats, Fred & Bitsy. Gloria is survived by her husband, Jim Anderson of Bingham Lake; three step-children, Steven (Emme) Anderson; Douglas (Terri) Lewrenz; Holly (Troy) Timgren; nine step-grandchildren; one sister, Sharon (Leo) Doherty of Windom MN; one sister-in-law, Wilma "Willy" Cannon; many nieces and nephews. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Velma and Carl; first husband, Jerry Risgard; brother, David Cannon; Sister, Lola Troutman; and Brother-in-Law, Larry Troutman.
