Goldye Elizabeth Roggow Stahn passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023. She was born to Herman and Elizabeth Werner Roggow and raised on the Roggow homestead located near Alpha, Minnesota.

Goldye worked as a secretary for the city of Minneapolis for many years before retirement and loved birds and especially caring for her dear bird Amy. Goldye enjoyed traveling in her younger years and texting with family and spending time on her computer most recently. She loved all kinds of animals and flowers and nature scenes.

Goldye is survived by one sister, Leona Roggow of Vadnais Heights, MN; one brother, Victor Roggow of Spring Park, MN; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Goldye was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Elizabeth Roggow; sisters, Alvina Potter Joos, Mabel Motl; brother George Roggow; sister-in-laws, Ruth Ann Roggow and Darlene Roggow; brother-in-law, Francis Motl.

A Celebration of Life Service for Goldye Stahn, of Minneapolis, formerly of Petersburg, will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson, Minnesota, with Pastor John Schuetz officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Petersburg.

A time of visitation and gathering will be held on Saturday, December 23rd from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson.

The service will be livestreamed on the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center Facebook page.
