Obituary

Harriet Moller passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21st at Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine, MN, at the age of 85. Harriet Joan Moller was born on November 10, 1936, to Lars and Dessie (Earp) Egenes, on the farm in rural Storden, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Amo Lutheran Church in rural Storden. Harriet attended Storden High School and graduated with the class of 1954. On March 23, 1956, Harriet married Alvin Moller at Amo Lutheran Church. The marriage was blessed with two children, Susan and Julie. The family lived and farmed in Dale Township. Harriet was a farm wife and homemaker. After Alvin passed away, Harriet moved to Jeffers in 2001. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, baking, bird watching and coffee with friends. In 2017, Harriet moved to Kingsway Retirement Living in Belle Plaine, MN, where she lived until her passing. Harriet is survived by her daughters, Susan (Allen) Nofziger of Oakdale, MN; Julie (Christopher) Filo of Shakopee, MN; three grandchildren, Jake (Renèe) Filo of Montgomery, MN; Samuel Nofziger of Fort Worth, TX; and JoAnna Filo of Shakopee, MN; one brother, David (Rozzie) Egenes of Lamberton, MN; one sister, Linda Pauling of Eveleth, MN; one sister-in-law RuthAnn Egenes; one brother-in-law, Brian Pabst; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Moller; parents, Lars & Dessie Egenes and Leroy & Sophia Moller; three brothers, LeRoy Egenes, Stanley Egenes and Frank Egenes; and two sisters, Patricia (Darrel) Banse, and Cheryl Pabst. Blessed be Harriet Moller. A Celebration of Life Service for Harriet Moller, age 85, of Belle Plaine, MN, formerly of Jeffers, will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 27th, at the LaCanne Family Funeral Home, in Windom, with Pastor Jennifer Bennet officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Windom. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 27th, at the LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom. The family asks you to wear red or hot pink because they were Harriet's favorite colors. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the LaCanne Family Funeral Service in Windom.
