Heidi Michelle
Johnson
Jun 26, 1991 — Oct 24, 2024
Heidi Michelle Johnson was born June 26th, 1991, to Arthur Johnson and Kim Coquyt. Heidi graduated from Jackson High School in 2009. She then went on to photography and cosmetology school. After high school Heidi worked a variety of jobs.
Her greatest job came in 2011, when she became Mom for the first time. Heidi's first son Carter was born in Minnesota. Heidi lived in Arizona for 6 years where she went on to have sons Maddix and Gage. Heidi loved being mom to her 3 boys and "second mom" to Heather's son Brayden.
Heidi was lucky enough to always have her best friend here with her, her older sister, Heather. Heidi and Heather were always a team. She was also blessed with another sister Sarah in 2004, who she loved very much. If you knew Heidi, you knew loved spending time with family and friends and family traditions were very important to her.
Heidi has always been a caregiver, taking care of her boys along with her parents in these later years. Even some of the jobs she had were caring for other people. She had been a CNA at a nursing home for a year while down in Arizona and had worked at the elementary school in Jackson for 2 years as a professional helping with 3-year-olds. Even in death Heidi was thinking of others by being an organ donor.
She also enjoyed the simple things in life like sunsets, sunrises, grilling outside in the summer, fishing, and mostly she enjoyed spending time with her 3 boys doing whatever activities they enjoyed.
She courageously fought daily against her mental illness which eventually overcame her on October 24th, 2024.
She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Heidi is going to be missed by her parents, Art and Kim; sons, Carter, Maddix, Gage; sisters, Heather (Tim) and Sarah; significant other, James Jenkins; grandmother, Alvina Moyars; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Heidi is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Arden and Connie Johnson; maternal grandfathers, Ray Krueger and Larry Moyars; and her aunts, Sandi Lanie, Tami Whitaker and cousin, Philip "James "Johnson III.
We are asking people to wear purple to honor Heidi at her celebration of life if possible as it was her favorite color.
