Janet Prins was born December 5, 1945, in the Windom Area hospital to Tebbo and Jeanette (Finger) Prins. She graduated from Jeffers High School and then attended Mankato Business College. She worked for Northwestern Bell in various cities across MN for 25 years until her retirement when she moved back to Jeffers. She then worked as a clerk for the City of Jeffers and treasurer for Jeffers United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan. She passed away at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls on Friday January 7th, 2022. She is survived by brothers, Norman (Ruth) Prins, Kenneth (Shirley) Prins and Richard Prins, sister-in-law Margie Prins, brother in laws Jack Ryker and David Vining and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and spouses Clyde (Bonnie) Prins, Ladonna (Myron) Eucken, Robert Prins, Marvin (Mary Lou) Prins, Bernice Ryker, Beatrice Vining and Arlene (Arlen) Meyer.
