Janet Viola Carrison was born on June 3, 1938 in Bedford, Iowa to the late George and Ruth (Shaver) Morris. She moved to Lennox, Iowa and received her education there. Janet then moved to Wilder with her aunt and uncle and met DeLoy Krueger.
On April 18, 1958, Janet was united in marriage to DeLoy Krueger. This marriage was blessed with two children, Richard and Pamela. This marriage was dissolved in 1980. On June 12, 1982, Janet was united in marriage to Arnold Leroy Carrison at the American Lutheran Church in Windom. They made their home in Windom.
Through the years, Janet worked at Campbell's Soup Company and then for thirty years at TORO in Windom until retiring at the age of 65. In retirement, Janet enjoyed traveling to Arizona, Texas and Michigan. She also had several other enjoyments in life which included having coffee and visiting at McDonald's in Windom, her old timers group from TORO, going to parades and stopping to eat at the Happy Chef in Mankato.
Janet was a longtime member of the American Lutheran Church in Windom.
On Sunday, April 21, 2019, Janet passed away at her home in Windom at the age of 80 years.
Janet is survived by her two children, Richard Krueger of Bedford, TX; Pamela (Darl) Schoenenberger of Eagan; step-son, John (Marny) Carrison of Mt. Lake; one sister, Amelia (Louis) Olson of Heron Lake; nieces, Janie (James) Steckley of Hartford, SD, Susette Harms, Kristie Heibult-Abmont, Leah Broesder; nephew Keith Krueger; 11 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and several other relatives.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold Carrison; step-son, David Carrison; step-daughter, Karen Carrison; first husband, DeLoy Krueger; sister, Jane Schultz; niece, Sheila Heidebrink; nephew, Duane Schultz.
