Jason Thomas Harnack was born on July 19, 1978, in Windom, Minnesota to Thomas and Renee (Robinson) Harnack. He was baptized at the First Presbyterian Church in Windom and later confirmed in that same church. Jason received his education in the Windom Public Schools, graduating from Windom High School in the Class of 1997. He then went onto Pipestone Vo-Tech where he received a degree in carpentry. Through the years, Jason was a handyman who had many enjoyments in life which included, playing pool and pool leagues, deer hunting, fishing, golfing, eating at Arby's, drinking hot chocolate and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew.
Jason was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Windom and playing on many church softball teams through the years in Bergen.
Jason is survived by his parents, Tom and Renee Harnack of Austin; one sister, Lindsay (Toren) Bires of Austin and their three children, Ashlyn, Brielle and Brayden; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and LaDonna Robinson and paternal grandparents, Eugene and Lila Harnack.

A PRIVATE FAMILY Celebration of Life Service for Jason "Spanky" Thomas Harnack, age 42 of Windom will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 9th, at the LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom with Pastor Mike Olmsted officiating.
A PUBLIC Visitation will be on Saturday, January 9th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Funeral Home in Windom.
