We would like to announce the birth and death of our sweet son, Kacen Steven Gilberg, who died on February 12, 2023, and was delivered on Monday, February 13, 2023. He was a beautiful, perfect baby who will always live on in our hearts.

Kacen will be forever remembered by his parents, Ashley Finseth and Justyn Gilberg; sister, Kierra; grandparents, Terri and Doug Finseth and Lydia Gilberg; great-grandparents, Katie and Duane Finseth; uncles, Tom (Katie) Winter, Jason (Alisa Reed) Winter, Josh Gilberg, and David Finseth; aunt, Kaila Peel; and many other relatives and friends.

Kacen was preceded in death by his grandfather, Steven Gilberg; and great-grandparents, Gerald and Joan Winter.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Kacen on March 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom. A visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kacen's family would like to thank the amazing staff who cared for the family, including Dr. Buhler, Dr. Taber, Channelle, Jeni, Annie, Tarynn, Heidi, Katrina, Kristi, Jennie, Liz, and the countless others who helped them at the hospital.
