Obituary

Karen Kay (Davison) Iverson was born on July 22, 1942, in Creston, Iowa to Harvey and Sarah (Toll) Davison. She was the youngest of seven children. Karen grew up in Prescott, Iowa and went to Prescott Consolidated School. After her education, she met David Joe Harvey. They were married on December 2, 1956. This union blessed them with three children: Joe, Lori, and Kevin. They lived on a farm in Prescott, Iowa for 13 years then moved to Corning, Iowa in 1969. In 1973, the family then settled in Windom and remained here until David's passing. Karen worked in the restaurant business for most of her life. She did enjoy her time working as a caretaker in the healthcare field. Karen was a kind, loving, generous and hard-working woman. She loved flowers. She would decorate the house with beautiful flowers from her garden. In 1986 Karen married Carlton Iverson, but that marriage was later resolved in 1998. On June 2, 2021, Karen passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society Sogge Memorial in Windom. Preceding Karen in death are Herman Davison, Leota Warrel, Donald Davison, Harley Davison, Betty Summerhayes, Jerry Davison and Lori Harvey. Left to cherish Karen's everlasting memory are her two sons, Joe and Kevin; her grandchildren; and other family and friends.
