Hargus
Dec 21, 1976 — Mar 20, 2026
A Celebration of Life Service for Kelly Hargus, Lindsey Rossow, and Rick and Kathy Johnson, will be held on Sunday, April 19th, at 1:00 PM at the Jackson County Central High School Gymnasium.
A visitation for Kelly, Lindsey, Rick, and Kathy will be held on Saturday evening, April 18th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson.

Kelly Christine (Johnson) Hargus was born December 21, 1976, to Richard and Kathleen (Vosika) Johnson in Willmar, Minnesota. She was baptized as an infant and was raised in the Lutheran faith. After the family made their home in Jackson, Minnesota, Kelly attended Jackson High School, graduating with the class of 1995. She later attended South Central College, where she earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
On June 4, 2011, Kelly was united in marriage to Paul Hargus at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Jackson. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Blake and Taylor, who were the center of Kelly's world. She was a devoted wife and attentive mother, faithfully supporting her children in their activities and cherishing time with them.
Kelly was called to a life of caring for others through her work as an LPN. From Sanford Worthington, Sanford Jackson, to Colonial Manor in Lakefield, Minnesota. She was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and compassionate heart, and the patients/residents she cared for were touched by her presence.
On March 20, 2026, Kelly was received into the loving hands of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Surrounded by family, Kelly entered eternal rest, along with her parents Richard and Kathleen Johnson, and her sister, Lindsey Rossow as a result of a motor vehicle accident. In this profound loss, we hold close the comfort that they are now together, held in God's eternal care.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul Hargus of Jackson; children, Blake Hargus and Taylor Hargus of Jackson; twin sisters, Kassandra "Kassie" (Jeremy) Ambrose of Jackson, and Kristin (Nathan) Hanson of Jackson; father-in-law, Dwayne Hargus; brothers-in-law, Eric Rossow, and Scott (Mikayla) Hargus; grandparent, Shirley Hakes; special friends, Jared, Jodi and Kennedy Praska; her cherished pet pals, Tony and Oddball; several nieces and nephews; as well as many relatives, and dear friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by her brother, Eric Johnson; mother-in-law, Camille Hargus; grandparents, Warren and Leone Johnson; Ben and Mary Vosika; Arden Hakes; Glenn and Marion Hargus.
