Kenneth Arnsdorf, age 81, of Jeffers, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Kenneth Marlo Arnsdorf was born on August 16, 1940, to Marlo and Evelyn (Gremmert) Arnsdorf in Tracy, Minnesota. He was baptized in Christ at the EUB Church in Lamberton, MN in 1940, and he was later confirmed in 1964 at Salem Lutheran Church in Comfrey, MN.
Ken attended elementary school at District 16, Redwood County and graduated from Lamberton High School in the class of 1959. He attended the University of Minnesota, St. Paul campus.
On October 25, 1963, Ken was united in marriage to Ellen Marie Iverson at the Old Westbrook Lutheran Church in Westbrook, MN. Ken farmed for 53 years in Amboy Township and retired in 2020. He was a good steward of the land. Through the years, he mentored several young men and women.
Ken was a very direct person, and he didn't beat around the bush. His friends called him "Buck" after the movie character, "Uncle Buck". He loved coffee, cookies, and conversation with family and friends. He chose a simple life, was a very private person and was extremely focused. Buck enjoyed gardening.
Ken is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ellen; sisters and brother, Pat (Ken) Werner of Siloam Springs, AR; Butch (Nancy) Arnsdorf of Fairland, IN; and Jan (Bruce) Wing of Belgrade, MN; several nieces and nephews; and his wonderful home health care team.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ned Arnsdorf; and nephew, Toby Iverson.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Kenneth Arnsdorf, age 81, of Jeffers, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 6th, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeffers, MN, with Pastor Jennifer Bennet officiating. Burial will follow at the Jeffers Cemetery in Jeffers.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct 6th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeffers.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of LaCanne Family Funeral Service in Windom.
