Kenneth "Ken" C. Berry was born on May 12, 1936 in Jeffers, Minnesota to the late Charles and Beryl (Schmotzer) Berry. He received his education in the Jeffers Public Schools; graduating in the Class of 1954. He then enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea for some time before being honorably discharged in 1958. Ken then returned to Jeffers where he worked in the plumbing and construction businesses for several years.
On August 16, 1965, Jan was united in marriage to Kenneth Charles Berry in St. Paul, Minnesota. This union was blessed with one son, Scott. Through the years, Ken was a loving husband and father who worked for Albenson's Printing Company until the early 1980's. He then went to work for Braun's Fashions in Eden Prairie, Minnesota as their daily delivery truck driver until retiring in 2001. Ken and Jan then moved to Jeffers, Minnesota. Jan passed away on April 7, 2011. After her death, Ken continued to life in Jeffers until passing away at this home in Jeffers on November 26th, 2019, at the age of 83 years.
Ken will be remembered for enjoying many things including being a big NASCAR fan, watching NHRA drag racing, being a big fan of the Denver Broncos and loved classic cars and collecting them.
Ken is survived by his one son, Scott Berry and his wife, Deb, of Elk River; two grandchildren, Derek Berry of Prior Lake and Danielle (Noah Ring) Berry of San Angelo, TX; one sister, Cindy (Jerry) Tews of Hutchinson; and several nieces and nephews.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Janet Y. Berry.
