Larry Bak, age 67, of Windom passed away at Sanford Medical Center on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Larry Bak was born on November 27, 1954, in Spirit Lake, IA, to Borge & Idell (Swanson) Bak. He had lived in Windom nearly all his life, except for the first few years, when the family lived on a farm south of Lakefield. He was confirmed at the American Lutheran Church in Windom. Larry attended Windom Elementary and Windom High School, graduating with the class of 1972. After high school, he attended Jackson Vocational and studied auto mechanics. He worked for United Packaging as a shipping clerk for 12 years and was a machinist at Mountain Power Hydraulics for 18 years. Larry loved playing guitar, his family and his dogs. Larry is survived by his brother, Tom & Cindy Bak of Windom, as well as several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mike and Ron; and sisters, Bev and Pat.
