A Celebration of Life Service for Larry J. Miller, age 76, of Windom, will be held Tuesday, June 4th at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom, with Pastor Paul Sajban officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #206 of Windom. The burial will take place at the Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.

A time of visitation and gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 4th from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom.

Larry Joseph Miller was born on June 18, 1947, to Virgil Arville and Catherine (Mariga) Miller in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After school, Larry enlisted and served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.

On May 31, 1969, Larry was united in marriage to Linda Diane Krueger at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Lakefield, Minnesota. The marriage was blessed with two children, Michelle and Cynthia. After marriage, the couple moved to Des Moines, Iowa, where they lived for a short time before moving to Windom, where they made their home.

Larry was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom. Larry was a devoted husband and father, who enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He worked on the production line at Toro for more than 30 years and served as a union steward, representing the interests of his fellow union members. Larry enjoyed nature and the outdoors, and in his free time he liked golfing, fishing, and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

On May 25, 2024, Larry passed away peacefully at his home in Windom, Minnesota, under hospice care.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Michelle Miller of Lakefield and Cynthia Miller of Windom; grandchildren, Matt Paden, Jordan Phibbs, Mariah Ogega, Joshua Phibbs, Dillon Phibbs, Tyrrhien Ostrem, and Avery Ostrem; one sister, Sue (Dean) Craig of Tucson, AZ; brother-in-law, Lyle (Linda) Krueger of Windom; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Voelker and Carole Krueger of Windom.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Diane Miller; parents, Virgil and Catherine Miller; brothers, Tim Miller and Don Miller; parents-in-law, Alice and Herbert Krueger and Herman and Molly Gentz; and brothers-in-law, Dave Krueger and Paul Voelker.
