Laura Kristine Bartel was born on February 22, 1970 in Minneapolis, MN. Laura lived in foster care until her admission to Home for Creative Living in 1977. She received her education and graduated with the class of 1991. Following high school, Laura started working for the Cottonwood County DAC and worked there until she passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Laura will be remembered for her quiet and calm demeanor. She loved sitting in the sun, music, and being talked or sung to softly. Laura is survived by her loving caregivers and her housemates of HCL Apartment 4. Blessed be the memory of Laura Kristine Bartel.
