Lucille "Lucy" H. Guritz, age 97, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Azle, Texas.

Lucy was born on January 2, 1928, in Sherburn, Minnesota to Hulda Lade Bettine and Frank Lade. Lucy was married to Clifford Guritz on October 4, 1944. This union blessed them with two sons, Duane and Gary.

Lucy was a lifelong resident Sherburn, Minnesota and the community of Jackson, Minnesota, except for the last eight months of her life.

Lucille is survived by her two sons, Duane and Gary; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

A Celebration of Lucy's Life is being planned and will be held later this spring at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Jackson.
