A Celebration of Life Service to honor the life and memory of Luke Nyborg, age 52, of Jackson will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson.

A time of visitation and gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024, at LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson with Pastor Ted Carnahan officiating.

Luke was born on February 21, 1972, in Worthington, Minnesota to Richard and Kathy (Norem) Nyborg. In his early years he lived in Jackson with his family on the farm. In the spring of 1980, Luke moved to Berryville, Arkansas with his family. He got to experience life on a ranch. Later he moved to Pine River, Minnesota and went to Backus to school. He has many adventures up there. Luke moved back to Jackson and graduated from Jackson High School. He went to one year of college at Worthington Junior College.

Luke worked in various jobs during his life, at Johnson Farms, then he had his own bin vacuuming business. After that he and his dad, Dick, had a trucking business. Later on, his last job was with CPS in Lakefield, Minnesota.

He was married to Jenny Collins on July 7, 2001, but this marriage was later dissolved. Luke was blessed with two children, Journee Gamble of Omaha, NE; and Jacob Nyborg of Jackson.

He loved his country, the United State of America, and was a proud patriot. His passion was Harley motorcycles and four wheelers for dirt biking.

Luke passed away peacefully at his home on July 1, 2024, at the age of 52.

Luke was preceded in death by baby brother, Chad; both paternal and maternal grandparents; father, Richard Jake; and granddaughter, Josie Gamble.

Luke is survived by his mother, Kathy Nyborg of Jackson; children, Journee (Kaleb) Gamble of Omaha, NE, and Jake Nyborg of Jackson; granddaughter, Jaycee Gamble; sister, Kristin Nyborg of Dunnell; nephew, Carsen (Christine) Nyborg and their daughter, Nellie of Jackson; niece, Kiana (Justin Holinka) Nyborg and their daughter, Isla of Jackson; uncle, Larry (Linda) Nyborg of Parksley, VA; as well as many other relatives and friends.
