Madden Philip Hein was born on September 8, 2022, to Alex and Kathryn (Nasby) Hein in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Madden was baptized into the Christian faith at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fulda, Minnesota, on October 22, 2022, with Peter Nasby as his sponsor.

On April 15th, 2024, Madden Philip Hein gained his angel wings at the Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

We will always remember Madden's vibrant spirit. Madden was so full of life.

We will always remember Madden's LOVE. He was filled with so much love for his mommy, daddy, and big sister, Charlotte. He loved spending time with his grandparents and playing with his cousins. He loved spending time at sporting events and running around in the gym and playing with every ball he could find. He was so excited to be a big brother this summer by rocking his baby dolls to sleep and kissing his mommy's belly.

He is survived by his parents, Alex and Kathryn Hein of Lakefield; big sister Charlotte Hein; soon-to-be baby sibling; grandparents, Philip and Holly Nasby of Jackson, Len and Lori Bakken of Windom, Unhui Gunderman and Randy Hein of Brewster; great-grandparents, Mark Nasby of Jackson, Jan Lichtenberger of Bloomington, Arliss and Elaine Hein of Fulda, Larry Schindler of Fulda; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Nasby of Prior Lake, Mark and Taylor Nasby of Savage, Peter Nasby and Shelby Kunerth of Spirit Lake, Jacki and Joe Larson of Slayton, Adam Hein and Melissa Scott of Minneapolis, Tim and Chelsea Hein of Fulda, Clarke Hein of Brewster, Matt and Taliah Finn of Watertown; countless amazing cousins that were close to his heart and many special friends.

Madden was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Marilyn Nasby, Jim Litchenberger, Orrin and Marilyn Clarke, and Cleone Schindler; uncle Brian Jaskowiak; and infant cousin Kale Grandgeorge-Hein.

A Celebration of Life Service for Madden Hein, son of Alex and Kathryn Hein of Lakefield, will be held Saturday, April 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Jackson County Central High School-Main Gymnasium in Jackson, with Pastor Shawn Ethridge officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center Facebook page. A visitation and reception will follow the service in the school cafeteria and auxiliary gymnasium.
