Mae Margaret Ysker, 88, of Bingham Lake, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society in Mountain Lake.
Mae was born May 26, 1931 the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Schmidt) Wilkin, the 6th of 7 children, in Dundee, Minnesota. She attended school and graduated from Heron Lake. On October 12, 1952 she married William H. Ysker and together they raised three children in Bingham Lake.
Mae worked for Sperry Univac while raising her family, delivered the Shopper for many years and retired in 1986 to be a grandma.
She enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, making ice cream, watching the Twins and being surrounded by family. Holidays and special events were always held at grandmas. She was kind to everyone she met in life and her generosity will be remembered and cherished by many.
She is survived by her children, Betty (William) Dement of Sioux Falls, SD; Mary Ysker of Bingham Lake; Jerry (Lori) Ysker of Bingham Lake; grandchildren Chad (Tina) Mastbergen, Michael Rehnelt, David Rehnelt, Daniel Ysker, Cory Riordan, Dustin (Jasey) Ysker; great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Tessa "Nate", Elliot, Joesph, Tyson, Landon, Jacelynn, Brentley and Wyatt and many relatives and friends.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William in 1989; son-in-law, Marvin Mastbergen and all of her siblings, Lois Acton, Dorothy Heern, Joy Hunter, Jack Wilkin, Ray WIlkin and Lee Wilkin.
