A Celebration of Life Service for Marless Glaser, age 98, of Lakefield, will be held Monday, February 5th at 2:00 PM at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Rost Township in rural Lakefield, MN, with Pastor Jeff Sage officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

A time of visitation and gathering will be held on Monday, February 5th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Marless Arline (Christoffer) Glaser, daughter of Henry and Theresa (Mittlestadt) Christoffer, was born on her family farm in rural Jackson County on October 20, 1925. She attended country school before graduating from Okabena High School. She was united in marriage to Edward Glaser on December 30, 1945, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Rost Township. The couple started their family farming in South Dakota, after a couple years they moved back to the Rost Township area of Jackson County. They kept their farm in South Dakota and loved to go and work there for over 50 years. In 1988, Ed and Marless moved into Lakefield. The family farm in Rost Township was named a Century Farm in 1993. On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, Marless passed away at Colonial Manor Nursing Home at the age of 98 years, three months, and eleven days.

Marless was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Rost Township. She loved her church and was very involved in it. She was a member of the choir and Ladies Aid. Marless enjoyed bowling and gardening. She worked and volunteered at Colonial Manor as an aid. As she got older, she liked to spend her time golfing.

Marless is survived by four of her children: Bradley (Sheri) Glaser of Lakefield, Daryl (Deb) Glaser of Hastings, Minnesota, Tom (Becky) Glaser of rural Lakefield, Kristine (Gerry) Bertelsen of Aitkin, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren, Leslie (Javier) Morales-Maza, Jason (Megan) Glaser, Alicia (Robert) Ramirez, Reese Glaser, Michelle (Derek) Schmidt, Tony (Leah) Glaser, Nate (Cassandra) Glaser, Theresa (Jesse Knueppl) Bertelsen, Patrick (Jordan) Bertelsen, Logan Glaser, Blake Glaser; and ten great-grandchildren, Breann, Tyler, Ellie, Claire, Natalie, Layla, Emma, Rose, Elena, and Derick.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Glaser; son, Derick Glaser; brothers, Delbert Christoffer and Melvin Christoffer; and sister, Genevive Gee.
