Mary Colleen Stuber was born on August 4, 1955, to Frank and Lavon (Behrens) Stuber in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She attended school in Sleepy Eye and graduated from Sleepy Eye High School in 1973.

On July 23, 1977, Mary was united in marriage to Charles C. Allen.  This union was blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth. Together they made their home in Petersburg Township, Jackson County, Minnesota. They shared 44 years of marriage before Charles passed away in October of 2021.

Mary enjoyed cooking — especially making her famous pancakes. She also loved cross-stitching, knitting, reading, and making handmade cards. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Mary Allen, age 70, passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society in Jackson on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer (Lawrence Hacker) Allen and Elizabeth (Mat) Fogelson; grandchildren, Annabelle Hacker, Ayla Hacker, Trinity Allen, and Clay Fogelson; niece, Amy Allen; nephew, Greg Allen; sister-in-law, Mary T. Allen; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents, Frank and Lavon Stuber; parents-in-law, Luvern and Wynn Allen; and brother-in-law, Perry Allen.

Family has chosen to have all events private and at a later date.
