A funeral outside of Mass for Mike Evers, age 68, of Butterfield, MN, will be held Monday, June 3rd at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom, with Father Antony Arokiyam officiating. Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Windom.

A time of visitation and gathering will also be held on Monday, June 3rd from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom.

Michael "Mike" Theodore Evers was born on July 23, 1955, to the late Theodore J. and Madeline C. (Neidecker) Evers, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Mike was the proud father of three sons, Jesse, Theo and Jake, and he loved taking in all their activities.

As a jack of all trades, Mike was handy and could learn new skills easily. He worked construction, farmed, drove the township road grader, and did some logging. He also enjoyed carpentry. Mike was an outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting and fishing, and he spent time at the racetrack in his younger years. He also loved watching sporting events of all kinds.

On May 29, 2024, Mike passed away suddenly at his home in Butterfield, Minnesota.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Theo Evers of Mankato and Jake Evers of Butterfield; sisters, Colleen Pfaff of New Ulm, Nancy Mann of Sleepy Eye, and Deb (Mark) Beam of Sioux Falls, SD; as well nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Madeline Evers; brother, Joel Evers; sister, Patricia (Allan) Schroeder; and brother-in-law, Bruce Pfaff.
