He then worked for Ray Kirchner Construction, after which he formed H&H Construction with Loren Hedrick. Later he started Horkey Construction, which was still going strong. He loved carpentry work and was very good at it.
Myron and Nancy McBreen were united in marriage July 30, 1966, at Faith Lutheran Church in Westbrook, MN. They were blessed with four children, Lisa, Wade, Mikka, and Megan.
Family was everything to Myron. He loved family gatherings and getting to see everyone together. He loved it when the grandchildren would say let's play cards or a board game, and if one of the kids said they had a job they would like him to do, he would be there as fast as he could. There are many projects that hold a special memory of him.
