Nancy Greengard was born on January 10, 1952, in St. Paul, MN to Robert James and Elsie (Kennedy) Greengard. At a very young age, Nancy developed serious health issues that led her to be institutionalized. Nancy had lived in 4 other homes, before moving into Home for Creative Living in January 2013. In May of 2013, Nancy started attending the Cottonwood County DAC. Nancy would help rip and string material. She worked at the DAC until recently retiring in May of 2021. Nancy enjoyed spending her time at home, doing a variety of activities from playing games to being read to. She liked sitting outside in the shade and people watching. She enjoyed having her hair and nails done and looking pretty. Nancy passed away at Windom Area Hospital on June 17, 2021, at the age of 69. Nancy is survived by all the wonderful friends she's made at work, as well as at home. She holds a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
