Pamela Marie Nordquist was born on December 3, 1964, in Marshall, Minnesota to Leland and Betty (Wallace) Larsen. Pam attended Marshall public schools and graduated from Marshall High School. She continued her education at Hutchinson Area Vocational Technical Institute earning her associate degree.

Pam was passionate about her work at the Jackson County Developmental Achievement Center. She spent more than thirty years in the field of developmental disabilities, striving to enhance the lives of vulnerable individuals by providing employment, assistance with healthcare needs and assistance with setting and achieving goals. She loved her clients and embraced helping them gain independence to enhance their quality of life.

Pam was a member of Good Shephard Catholic Church in Jackson. She was a former member of the Lions Club and had served our community as an election judge. Pam raised three beautiful children, Zach, Cassie, and Maranda that brought her an incredible amount of joy. On September 27, 2014, Pam was united in marriage to Kevin Nordquist at Fort Belmont Delafield Church in Jackson, Minnesota. Together, they enjoyed life outdoors, whether camping, being at the lake, walking, biking, or golfing, she soaked up every minute. Pam was a most loving "gamma" to her grandchildren Archer, Kurt, Will, Jayce and Madisyn in the short amount of time she had with them. She loved attending family sporting events. You could also find her relaxing as she crocheted. Pam was surrounded by a wonderful group of family and friends. She loved spending time with every one of them.

On Sunday, April 30, 2023, Pam passed away peacefully, with loved ones by her side, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Mankato, Minnesota.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Kevin Nordquist of Jackson; three children, Zach (Breiha Hammarstad) Lovold of Buffalo, MN, Cassie (Markis Freeman) Esparza of Marshall, MN, and Maranda (Dillon) Rooney of Albert Lea, MN; five grandchildren, Archer Rooney, Kurt Lovold, Will Lovold, Madisyn Rooney, Jayce Rooney; step-mother, Linda Larsen; siblings, Martie (David Klinkenborg) Larsen of Des Moines, IA, Susan Larson of Langford, SD, Anthony (Laurie) Larsen of Marshall, MN, Timothy (Jill) Larsen of Crosby, MN, Kelli Johnson of Willmar, MN, Terri (Chris) Zent of Marshall, MN, and Cody (Amy) Johnson of Minneapolis, MN.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Betty (Wallace) Larsen; and infant sister, Roben Lynn Larsen.

A Celebration of Life Service for Pam Nordquist, age 58, of Jackson, will be held Saturday, May 20th, at 1:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson with Father Jonathan Fastnacht officiating.

A time of visitation and gathering will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Jackson.
