Patricia "Pat" Grant was born on May 12, 1945 in Windom, Minnesota to the late Loren and Aileen (Holland) Grant. She grew up on a farm several miles East of Windom where she enjoyed helping with chores on the farm, but the best part of the farm was being able to spend time and play with her many cousins.
Patricia received her education in Windom, graduating in the Class of 1963. Two weeks after graduation Patricia started her training to be a Registered Radiologic Technologist at what is now Hennepin County Medical Center in downtown Minneapolis. Patricia worked as the Supervisor of the Diagnosis Section of Radiology at the New Medical Center in Anoka/Coon Rapids. Patricia then worked for Mercy Medical Center as the Department Manager of Radiology for over 39 years. She then returned to Windom to work at Windom Area Hospital as a staff technologist for a short time before retiring. After retiring Patricia enjoyed relaxing, traveling and spending time with family.
Patricia was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Windom and had many different roles within the church. Whatever the task Patricia was there to make sure it got done. Patricia was very strong in her faith and viewed her church as part of her family.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2020 God called Patricia home at the Seasons Healthcare in Trimont, Minnesota at the age of 75. Patricia battled many different illnesses for a long time.
Patricia had many enjoyments in life which included traveling, spending time with friends and family, cross stitching, making baby blankets, watching the birds, and playing the organ and piano.
Patricia is survived by one sister in law, two nieces and one nephew and eight great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
