Rickie Darrell Goeman was born November 25, 1955 in Windom, Minnesota to Darrell and Donnabelle (Grund) Goeman. He was baptized on July 3, 1956 at the First Methodist Church in Jeffers and was later confirmed on December 6, 2009 at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Windom. Rickie attended Elementary School in Windom, then later attended High School in Walnut Grove and Comfrey.
On May 16, 1981 Rickie married Carol Ann Schuur. The union blessed them with three children: Jennifer, Jamie and Jareth. The marriage was later dissolved.
Rickie worked as a welder and various places, including Balzers, AgCo, and Fast Distributing. He was an exceptional welder, and this was his occupation for many years.
Rickie enjoyed bowling, pool, being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
On April 10, 2020 Rickie passed away after a short battle with cancer at the Wabasso Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Wabasso, MN.
Rickie will be dearly missed by his children: Jennifer (Doug Herman) Gerthe of Meckling, SD, Jamie (Brett) Nolte of Windom and Jareth (Corinne Thompson) Goeman of Windom; Four grandchildren: Brittany, Zachary, Hilary and Trenton; his parents, Darrell and Donnabelle Goeman of Windom; brothers and sisters: Rae Jean Koep of Lakefield, Russ Goeman of Arkansas, Rhonda (John) Dittmar of Arkansas, Randall (Dee) Goeman of New York, Robyn (Dean) Bailey of Arkansas; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Rickie in death is his brother Rodney Goeman and his brother-in-law, James Koep.

A Celebration of Rickie's life will be held at a later date.
