Robert Junior Pabst was born July 15, 1946 to Erma (Wilkens) and Carl Pabst in Springfield, MN. His family included 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Throughout his life, Robert and his siblings lived in several communities. In earlier years, Bob lived in Children's Schools in Faribault and Owatonna. He spent the next years in Faribault, St. Peter, and Willmar. In 1993, Bob moved to Waseca and then returned to Willmar in 1997. While in Willmar, he was employed at the Crossroads DAC. In 2008, after a lengthy hospitalization following a leg fracture, Bob moved to Mankato. In 2014, Bob returned to Willmar, which he has always considered his home. Bob enjoyed being retired and spent many leisurely days in his sun porch watching game shows and talk shows. As his health began to change, Bob spent some time at the Nursing Home in Olivia and was admitted to Hospice Care in October of 2018. Bob passed away peacefully at his home in Luverne, MN on March 10th at the age of 72 years. Bob especially enjoyed family gatherings, eating out, playing Yahtzee, making crafts and anticipating holidays. He had the gift of a good sense of humor and was known as a man who liked to joke with family members, care givers and others who knew him well. No matter where Bob's life led him, he always had special staff and housemates he connected with. He is survived by his siblings: Jean Marie Pabst of Jackson, Donald John Pabst of Windom, Ronald Carl Pabst of Willmar, and Carl John Pabst Jr., of Windom. Also surviving is a brother in law, Lowell Wallace and a niece, Angel Gutha, both of Wisconsin. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Patricia Wallace and Beverly Smerling.
