Rodger Marlin Jeppesen was born on February 28, 1957, in Windom, Minnesota to the late Elmer and Jonette (Metcalf) Jeppesen. He was baptized at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Heron Lake and was later confirmed at the American Lutheran Church in Windom. Rodger received his education in the Windom Public Schools, graduating in the Class of 1975. He then attended school at Minnesota West Technical and Community College in Jackson. Rodger spent some time working in Texas before returning to Windom where he started his career in road construction with Scheppmann Construction. He worked there for many years. After that time he was hired to build redwood furniture in Windom. He then worked as a cook at PJ's in Bingham Lake. Rodger retired after working for Toro for several years. Rodger spent his free time riding his Harley, collecting wildlife art, reading Western novels, mastering jigsaw and crossword puzzles, listening to rock music, and cooking. Rodger was very close to his many cousins and enjoyed spending quality time with them. In 2017, Rodger became a resident of Good Samaritan in Windom. His family is very appreciative of the excellent care he received while he lived there and during his time of hospice after his stroke. Rodger is survived by his sister, Barbara Leopold of Maple Grove; brother Gary (Vicki) Jeppesen of Underwood, MN and many cousins. Rodger is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Jonette and brother-in-law Donald Leopold. Blessed be the memory of Rodger Jeppesen
