Roger Harold Bieser was born on November 28, 1944 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota to Harold and Ethel (Jessen) Bieser. He attended country school in Windom and graduated from Windom Public Schools. He then went to Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. On September 9, 1967, Roger was united in marriage to Jan Heuer in Windom. Together they adopted three children, Jamie, Christie, and Lori. This marriage was later dissolved. Roger lived in rural Windom where he farmed for many years until passing away on Tuesday, January 26, 2011 at his home at the age of 66. In his earlier years, Roger was a member of the Lion's Club and DFL. He travelled often across the United States on vacations with his family. Roger especially enjoyed the company of his grandchildren. He is survived by his three children, Jamie Bieser and his wife, Toni, of Hopkins; Christie Bieser and special friend, Jeff Ritzer of Spirit Lake, IA; and Lori Nyandieka of Windom; seven grandchildren; one sister, Joan Schwarz and her husband, Richard, of Spencer, IA; and nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ethel. Blessed be the memory of Roger H. Bieser.
